Pat was my student for two classes at DCC--British Literature and Directed Writing of Creative Nonfiction.  She was a wonderful addition to my classes--always full of life, always prepared and eager to contribute to discussions, and a very good writer and student.  I appreciated the way she could connect with everyone in the class and always had a good sense of humor and fun.  The younger students admired her, and we became friends, sharing stories about her GED students and my classes, as well as about our lives.  I will never forget her!
