For anyone who doesn't know me, I'm Judy's niece Nancy. I'm one of the people who called her Aunt JeJe. When my brother was learning to talk, he couldn't say Judy - it came out Aunt JeJe. That's who she was to us. That's who she was to our children. I treasure the relationship I had with Aunt JeJe. I valued her opinion, her friendship, and her sense of humor. She was one of my biggest fans, wonderfully encouraging and supportive, my confidante, and my dear, dear friend. She and I emailed regularly. It was rare for us to go 2 weeks without checking in. We talked about the beautifully mundane things that make up life - the weather, what birds were at the bird feeders, our families, our pets, what we were growing in our gardens in the summer, what we were having for dinner that night, and what was going on with Days of Our Lives. She and I shared a love for Days of Our Lives and we'd rehash storylines and talk about our favorite characters. She was so upset that Sammi was leaving the show! She had a profound influence and impact on my life and that will not change because I will continue to feel her and love her...for all the days of my life.
