Hilda I. Bingham, 93, originally a resident of Brooklyn, she with her family, moved to Wingdale in 1965 where she lived until ill health eventually prompted her to reside at the Sharon Health Care Center. She was cared for by the nurses of Salisbury Visiting Nurse Association until her demise on Monday, December 12, 2016.

Born on October 30, 1923 in Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of the late Richard and Eudora Brewster. In August of 1952 she married Richard Bingham who predeceased her on May 2, 2000. Mrs. Bingham worked as a seamstress in Manhattan's fashion district for many years.

Mrs. Bingham is survived by her two sons, Paul H. and Rodney; a daughter, Alorrah and two grandsons. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Bingham was predeceased by a sister, Beryl Brewster.

Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 222, Dover Plains, NY. Funeral services will follow at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at South Dover Rural Cemetery, Route 55, Wingdale, NY.
