Anna M. Connors, 97, a longtime resident of Dover Plains, NY died on Monday, December 21, 2015 at Laurel Ridge Health Care Center in Ridgefield, CT.

Born on July 1, 1918 in New York, NY she was the daughter of the late George and Josephine (Dean) Moore. On November 8, 1941 in New York City she married John M. Connors who predeceased her in 1971. Mrs. Connors was a member of Annie’s Gang Senior Bowling League.

Mrs. Connors is survived by son, John M. Connors, Jr. and his wife, Patricia, of McLean, VA and a daughter, Patricia Burgess and her husband, Victor, of Ridgefield, CT. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Katherine Connors and her husband, Ben Congleton, of California.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. Graveside services and burial will take place at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Rosehill Cemetery, 792 E Edgar Rd, Linden, NJ.
