A Good Neighbor

My partner and I purchased an ajoining 30 acre parcel back in 1984.. Within days, Lin stopped by to say hello and welcome us to the neighborhood, as we sat just outside our tent cooking hot dogs on a small grill. He shared some history of the area with us and as he was leaving, offered us the use of his outdoor water faucet, should we need any fresh water.

A week later, I appeared at his front door with a 400 foot hose. He burst out laughing and allowed us to attach it to his faucet. It remained there until we drilled our well six months later.

Lin and Marion have been the perfect kind of neighbors that most people only dream about; always ready to help and forever keeping an eye on our place when we were away. They have been to dinner at my  house many times and shared  'old world charm' to every conversation and event.

Marion is like a second Mom to me and I will miss Lin so very much. I know that his place in heaven is secure.

My deepist condolences to Marion and the boys.

Much Love, Bob Casey
