James Antone Katsandris, 54, a longtime resident of Dover Plains, NY died on Monday, April 29, 2013 at his home in Dover Plains. Mr. Katsandris was a self-employed musician.

Born on August 10, 1958 in New Rochelle, NY, he was the son of Rose (Detris) Katsandris and the late Odysseus Katsandris. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, John Katsandris of Cape Coral, FL.

Mr. Katsandris proudly served in the U.S. Army. He loved music and played the piano, keyboard, bass guitar and trombone. He was also a former member of the Phat Kats band.
