Condolence: Dear Walter and Kate,
We were shocked to open the newspaper just a few hours ago (on the way to NYC to get a plane to Florida) and to discover that Margaret had died two weeks ago! This is so terribly sad! Margaret was such a larger-than-life woman, in every way, even in her last years, which is when we knew her. I still remember her reaction to books I gave her, and the books she gave me.
We send you both our warmest condolences, and will give you hugs when we return to Sharon.
