Obituary for Annelouise Burns

Annelouise passed away on the sunny morning of Tuesday, February 7th, in her home with her family and beloved cats. Annelouise graduated with the 1980 class of Cardinal Spellman High School and went on to complete her Bachelors of Fine Arts at Pratt in Graphic Design in 1984, and later returned to earn her Master's Degree in Design Management in 1996. She was a graphic designer and artist for 38 years and led her own design business for 27 years.

Annelouise loved gardening, art, knitting, hiking, music, and exploring the unknown with enthusiasm and zest. She wasn't afraid to try or learn something new, and her sense of humor was the light and life of every room she entered.

She is survived by her siblings; Bobby, Noreen, Sue, Jane-Marie, Patricia, Tom, and Billy, her husband Ray and their two children Anna and Bunny, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Annelouise was a loving wife, mother, friend, and an inspiration to those around her. Her warmth will be sorely missed.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. To send the family a condolence, please visit www.hufcutfuneralhome.com
