Obituary for Gertrude M. Murray
Gertrude M. Murray, 65, a 20-year resident of Dover Plains, NY passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY. Mrs. Murray was a comptroller at J J Sisca and Associates Building Corporation in Brewster, NY.
Born on September 14, 1956 in Yonkers, NY, she was the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Stager) Bell, Sr. On September 30, 1990 in Brewster, NY she married John J. Murray who survives at home.
In addition to her loving husband, Mrs. Murray is survived by a daughter, Laura Prinz of Brookfield, CT and two sons, Kyle and John A. Murray, both of Dover Plains. She is also survived by a brother, Brian Bell of Brewster, NY and four sisters, Margaret Zodel of Ocala, Fl, Joan Nicolucci of Ocala, FL, Eileen Doyle of Boston, MA and Mary Forzaino of Pawling, NY.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Murray was predeceased by two brothers, Michael Bell and George Bell, Jr. and a step-mother, Jean Bell.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2022 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Church, 15 North Ave., Millbrook, NY. Burial will be private.
