John Howard LaRue, Sr., 75, a resident of Dover Plains, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, CT. Mr. LaRue was a therapy aide at the Harlem Valley Psychiatric Center in Wingdale, NY.

Born on June 4, 1942 in Massena, NY, he was the son of the late Howard and Catherine (Cardinell) LaRue. Mr. LaRue is survived by his son, John H. LaRue, Jr.; a daughter, Theresa LaRue and two sisters. Catherine Kramer and Joanne LaRue.

Funeral services will be private. Burial in the family plot at Calvary Cemetery in Massena, NY will be announced at a later date.
