Obituary for William G. Lowe

William G.  Lowe
William Gerald Lowe, 67, a longtime area resident died on Monday, December 1, 2014 at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY. Mr. Lowe was a crew leader at Kimberly Clark in New Milford, CT for 28 years and was currently a caretaker on Quaker Hill in Pawling, NY.

Born on August 8, 1947 in Danforth, ME he was the son of the late Orland and Amelia (Muncey) Lowe. Mr. Lowe proudly served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Austin. He and his wife Jeanne (Tiebout) have been together for 36 years.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Lowe is survived by a son, William G. Lowe, Jr. of Dover Plains, NY; a daughter, Patricia Merrick of New Fairfield, CT and a brother, Rodney Lowe of Wingdale, NY. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Brittany and Brandon Lowe and Christopher Merrick; three great-grandchildren, Bella Lowe and Sofia and Noah Olivera and his four legged kid, Twix. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister Matilda Morgan.

Friends and family are welcome to join together at the Lowe family home between 1 and 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, 2014. Since he was most comfortable in jeans and a work shirt please dress casually and come share some stories.
