Obituary for James A. Yeno

James A. Yeno, 46, a lifelong resident of Dover Plains, NY, died on Saturday, December 3, 2017 in Dover Plains. Mr. Yeno owned and operated Murphy’s Speed and Custom Inc. in Dover Plains.

Born on December 2, 1971 in Sharon, CT, he was the son of Peggy Mowris and James E. Yeno, both of Dover Plains. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Alexandra Kassidy Yeno and Cassandra Elizabeth Yeno, both of Monroe, NC. He is also survived by two brothers, Steven Yeno and Edward Yeno, both of Dover Plains, NY and a half-sister, Micheal Funk-Niles of Wingdale, NY; two step-brothers, Garrett Yeno of Wingdale, NY and Ronald Mullaly, Jr. of Stanfordville, NY; a step sister, Tina Mullaly of Dover Plains, NY and his former wife, Donna Balfe Yeno of Monroe, NC.

Mr. Yeno was a member of the Chestnut Ridge Rod and Gun Club in Dover Plains.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 62 Mill St., Dover Plains, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to Steven Yeno, 245 Benson Hill Rd., Dover Plains, NY 12522 and will be used toward James’s daughters’ college funds.
