Lori Ann Patchen, 49, a 34-year resident of Wingdale, NY, died on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at her mother’s home in Wingdale. Lori worked as waitress and bartender in many local restaurants, diners and bars. Born on June 3, 1968 in Portchester, NY, she was the daughter of Maria J. Hopkins of Wingdale, NY and David M. Patchen of Pompano Beach, FL.

Lori was a 1986 graduate of Dover High School and won the Most Photogenic category of the NYS Miss Teen Pageant. She was also a volunteer with The Animal Rights Alliance (T.A.R.A.) Cat Rescue in Dutchess County. Lori was an avid motorcyclist who had a big heart and was a caring and generous person.
Besides her parents, she is survived by three daughters, Alexandra Mandigo and her wife, Sarah Mandigo of Central Valley, NY; Cynthia Marie Gilroy of Wingdale, NY and Katy Lynn Pellicciotti of Millerton, NY; two brothers, David Patchen of Wingdale and John Schildbach of Dana Point, CA and two sisters, Cynthia D’Ottavio of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Kimberly Patchen of Asheboro, NC. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Merrick Gilroy, several nieces and nephews and her former husband, Jamie Gilroy of Ellenville, NY.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 27, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at South Dover Rural Cemetery in Wingdale.
