Thomas William DeVito, 69, a longtime resident of Wingdale, NY, died on Monday, September 4, 2017 at New Milford Hospital in New Milford, CT. Mr. DeVito was an electrician who owned and operated Thomas Electric for many years.

Born on September 16, 1947 in Mt. Vernon, NY he was the son of Rose Gallalo of New Rochelle, NY and the late Thomas P. DeVito. On August 9, 1970 in Mt .Vernon, NY he married Barbara Feraulo who survives at home.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his two sons, Ron DeVito of Carmel, NY and Thomas J. DeVito of Wingdale, NY and a daughter, Julie DeVito of Wingdale, NY. He is also survived by a sister, Barbara DeVito of New Rochelle, NY and two grandchildren, Gianna Rodriquez and Ava Tompkins.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 8, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at South Dover Rural Cemetery in Wingdale, NY.
