Obituary for Roderick Charles DeGrenier

Roderick Charles DeGrenier, 67, a longtime resident of Dover Plains, NY died on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at his home in Dover Plains. Mr. DeGrenier was a carpenter at Westchester Modular Homes in Wingdale, NY for 27 years.

Born on March 11, 1950 in Charlotte, VT he was the son of the late Charles F. and Myrtle (Gilbeau) DeGrenier. Mr. DeGrenier proudly served in the US Army during The Vietnam War. He was the past commander of American Legion Post #1949 in Wingdale, NY. On February 10, 1996 in Wingdale, NY he married Pamela Forster who survives at home.

In addition to his loving wife, Mr. DeGrenier is survived by two daughters, Tori and Nicole DeGrenier both of Dover Plains, NY; two sons, Brandon and Brody DeGrenier of Salamanca, NY; a stepdaughter, Melissa Miller and her husband, Roy, of Killeen, TX and two step-sons, Thomas Lounsbury of Killeen, TX and Stephen Lounsbury of Dover Plains. He is also survived by a sister, Ruth Golding of Maine and a brother, Raymond DeGrenier of Wingdale, NY.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY.
