Gene K. Tuck, Sr., 75, a longtime area resident, died on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel, NY following a long battle with cancer. Gene was a machinist at the Pawling Corporation in Pawling, NY. Born on May 25, 1941 in Virginia, he was the son of the late Herschel L. Tuck and Mildred C. Tuck. On September 5, 1984 in Wingdale, NY, he married Sally Knights who survives at home.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Gene Tuck and his wife, Michele, of Southbury, CT and Gene K. Tuck, Jr. and his companion, Karen, of Wingdale, NY. He is also survived by a brother, Herschel Tuck and his wife, Gloria, of Norfolk, VA; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many close friends.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Monday, February 20, 2017 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY.
