Donna Lee Murphy, 71, a long-time resident of Dover Plains, NY died on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at her home in Dover Plains, NY. Born on December 26, 1944 in New Rochelle, NY she was the daughter of the late Daniel Lee and Marion (Monahan) Moore. Ms. Murphy was a therapy aide at the Harlem Valley Psychiatric Center in Wingdale, NY.

Ms. Murphy is survived by three daughters, Elaine Murphy of Dover Plains, NY, Melanie Taylor of Windsor, CA and Joyce Long of Millbrook, NY and a son, Brain Somers and his wife, Deborah, of Dover Plains, NY. She is also survived by a brother, Raymond Moore of Greenwood Lake, NY and twelve grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Ms. Murphy was predeceased by a daughter, Heather Murphy and a brother, Michael Moore.

Calling hours will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
