Gerald Bruce Short, 62, a longtime resident of New Milford, CT, died on March 5, 2016. Born on November 26, 1954 he was the son of Lorraine (Brennan) Short of Danbury, CT and the late Albert Short.

He is survived by his former wife, Hope Carroll; sons, Jarred Short, Robert Freeman, and Joseph Harrison; a daughter, Cherrine Short; a sister, Pamela Buss and a brother Al Short.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at the River View Bible Baptist Church, 126 Kent Rd, New Milford, CT.
