Alyssa Nicole Loverro, 24, a lifelong resident of Dover Plains, NY, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016 at her home in Dover Plains, NY. Alyssa was a clerk at Dunkin Donuts in Dover Plains and was working as a medical secretary in Bronxville, NY.

Born on December 27, 1991 in Poughkeepsie, NY she was the daughter of John Loverro of Dover Plains and Caroline (Kennedy) Andress and her husband, Gerald, of Dover Plains.

Alyssa was a graduate of Dover High School class of 2010 and a graduate of the Ridley Lowell Business and Technical Institute in Poughkeepsie, NY. Alyssa was also a former member of the J.H. Ketcham Drum and Bugle Corps. She loved arts and crafts and serving and helping others.

In addition to her parents, Alyssa is survived by her brother, Philip Loverro of Dover Plains, NY and a sister, Ashlee Loverro of Amenia, NY. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Joyce Kennedy of Dover Plains and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Alyssa was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Byron Kennedy and paternal grandparents, John Loverro and Loretta Colangelo.

Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY.
