Dilja Lukic, 86, of Dover Plains, NY formerly of Bronx, NY, died on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 in Dover Plains, NY. Mrs. Lukic was a housekeeper with the 32BJ Union in New York, NY.

Born on October 13, 1929 in Montenegro, Yugoslavia she was the daughter of the late Zef and Mrika (Dobrecovic) Stanovic. In October of 1948 she married Petar Lukic who predeceased her on August 28, 2003. Mrs. Lukic was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Church in Dover Plains, NY and Our Lady of Shkodra in Hartsdale, NY.

Mrs. Lukic is survived by her three sons, Ilija Lukic and his wife, Dilja, of Ossining, NY, Marko Lukic and his wife, Dilja, of Yonkers, NY and Steve Lukic and his wife, Maria, of Dover Plains, NY and three daughters,Prena Kocovic and her husband, Gaco, of Yonkers, NY, Lula Mardjonovic and her husband, Pavlje of Montenegro, Yugoslavia and Dilja Briskovic and her husband, Prenca of Montenegro, Yugoslavia. She is also survived by three brothers, Mark, Djona and Peter Stanovic; two sisters, Mrika Stanovic and Tone Barlovic; eighteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and nine nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Our Lady of Shkodra, 361 West Hartsdale Avenue, Hartsdale, NY.
