Mark Stephen  Lounsbury
Mark Stephen Lounsbury, 57, a longtime resident of Wassaic, NY, died on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at his home in Wassaic, NY. Mr. Lounsbury was the Director of Facilities at Webutuck Central Schools in Amenia, NY for the past 13 years.

Born on November 12, 1957 in Mt. Kisco, NY he was the son of the late George and Janette (Conner) Lounsbury. On June 30, 2001 in Amenia, NY he married Susan Schlich who survives at home. Mr. Lounsbury was a former member of the Amenia Lions Club.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Lounsbury is survived by his six children, Jessica Van Valkenburg of Lake Peekskill, NY, Melissa Miller and her husband, Roy, of Killeen, TX, Stephen and Thomas Lounsbury both of Wassaic, NY, Meghan Schneider of Brighton, MA and Michael Schneider of Clinton, MA. He is also survived by a brother, David Lounsbury of Naples, FL and five grandchildren, Brooke and Brandon Van Valkenburg and Christopher, Andrew and Karl Miller.

Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. Graveside services and burial will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Valley View Cemetery, S. Nellie Hill Road, Dover Plains, NY with Rev. Zora Ficarra-Cheatham officiating.
