Condolence: I grew up with John in Rockville Centre, he was a good friend of my brother Tommy Harrington. Tom went to Chaminade and I went to St. Agnes HS John and I hung out a lot at the beach with my brother and my other sisters! Actually I had a crush on him but I was shy. I met him after many many years at a coffee shop near my office in the Financial District! It was so lovely to see him after all those years we had a great time! Caught up on each other’s lives! He passed away soon after that meeting and it made me so sad! I do know he loved his wife and family and was talking about retiring to Maryland! I’m so happy I spent time with him. What a kind sensitive bright loving person Hope his family is doing well! I miss him and will always remember his beautiful smile With Love Mary Pat Harrington
