Alfred Paul Ferris, Sr., 87, a longtime resident of Dover Plains, NY died on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the Kent Specialty Care Center in Kent, CT. Mom and Dad went everywhere they wanted to go and did everything they wanted to do. RIP.

Born on September 16, 1927 in Stamford, CT he was the son of the late Arthur Lee Ferris, Sr. and Helen (Vargo) Ferris. Mr. Ferris was a limousine driver for US Tobacco in Greenwich, CT.

He is survived by his three sons, Alfred P. Ferris of New Milford, CT, Douglas J. Ferris of Stamford, CT and Joseph D. Ferris of Shelton, CT; a brother, Eugene Ferris of Conway, AK and a sister, Ruth Stabell of Augusta, GA. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Ferris was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Cambridge on June 15, 2011. In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Ferris was predeceased by two sisters, Gladys Dahm and Dorothy Parkington; a brother, Arthur Ferris and a daughter-in-law, Rebecca Ferris.
