Russell P. Kullman, 72, a longtime resident of Dover Plains, NY died on Monday, January 5, 2015 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. Mr. Kullman was a teacher at Maplebrook School in Amenia, NY for several years

Born on June 19, 1942 in Bronx, NY he was the son of the late Edgar and Doris (Peabody) Kullman. On June 25, 1966 in Alexandria, VA he married Joyce Schalla who predeceased him on September 3, 2011. Mr. Kullman was an avid New York Yankee fan and enjoyed fantasy baseball. He was also a member and former elder of The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Christ the King in Pawling, NY.

Mr. Kullman is survived by his three daughters, Jenifer Beebe of Dover Plains, NY, Tracie Luhman and her husband, Kenneth of Wingdale, NY and Maria Kullman of Catskill, NY; two sons, Christopher Kullman of Dover Plains, NY and Kenneth Kullman and his husband, Arthur Parisi of Albany, NY and a brother, Colby Kullman of Oxford, MS. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Chase and Samantha Beebe, Amanda, Rylee and Shane Callahan and Sydney Luhman and one great grandson, Lucas Preciado.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 9, 2015 at The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Christ the King, 14 Pine Drive, Pawling, NY with Rev. Jon Ellingworth officiating.
