Josephine M. Van Millon, 88, a three- year resident of Dover Plains, NY, formerly a lifelong resident of Bronx, NY died Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Elant at Fishkill in Beacon, NY. Mrs. Van Millon was an assembler at Laral Co. in Bronx, NY retiring in 1964.

Born on January 1, 1925 in Bronx, NY she was the daughter of the late Anthonio and Minnie (Newhill) Aloia. On September 15, 1945 in Bronx, NY she married George Van Millon who predeceased her on March 30, 1989.

She is survived by her son, Paul Van Millon and his wife, Marilyn, of Dover Plains, NY; three grandchildren, Michele, Darlene, and Alyssa Van Millon; three great-grandchildren, Michael Kline, Mikayla Watkins and Natalia Orta and a niece, Nina Wagner. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Van Millon was predeceased by three sisters, Dolly Levis, Julia Vande Wouwer and Louise Sciarotta.

Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. A funeral service will be take place at 12 noon on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Raymond’s Cemetery in Bronx, NY at the family’s convenience.
