Darlene Sherwin Johnson, 53, of Wassaic, NY died on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, CT. Born on August 25, 1959 in Newburgh, NY she is the daughter of Albert James Johnson, Jr. of North Carolina and the late Jeanie Bell Hill. In addition to her father, she is survived by two sisters, Sandra Sykes and Glendora Melvin both of Elizabethtown, NC and three brothers, Alvin and Freeman Johnson both of Durham, NC and Alron Johnson of Elizabethtown, NC.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY with the Rev. Jon Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Dover Plains, NY.
